16th Annual Geocaching Hampton Roads Picnic

Northwest River Park

Chesapeake, Virginia

16 years!!!
A picnic in a great park!!! A chance to get together
with geocachers not only from this area but from
all over.  An entire section of Northwest River Park

has been set aside for our fun starting at 9AM.

Woodbooger Kickoff Event 2018

Norton, Virginia

I attended last year's event with geospillz - Randy and
Jo - and we had a grand time!  There is a Friday night
event to meet the locals and a CITO Sunday
morning to help clean up afterward!

There will be at least 25 new caches that publish around
the area on Friday.  

But the MAIN EVENT is Saturday!!!
The 2018 Woodbooger Trail publishes on Saturday
morning.  The 2018 version of the trail will
consist of over 20 caches.  The trail will be a mix
of Traditional, Multi, Letterbox and Gadget caches.

There is a Woodbooger Footprint geo-art nearby!!!

The Norton City Manager as well as the City of
Norton were very pleased with the turnout last year
and are looking forward to seeing us again this year!!!

Local hotels are offering a discount of rooms.

I will say this: I had a fantastic time last year and
have already made reservations for this year!!!

These cachers put on a really good event!

Going Caching 2018

Rome, Georgia

To be truthful, I have not attended any of the
previous Going Caching Events.  But, I have been
told by numerous gecachers that this
is an event you do not want to miss.

I have been told this event is extremely well organized.

There is a ton of information on the cache page!!!
